Walking your dog in Snowdonia National Park
We’re surrounded by dog friendly walks with the most obvious one, the Mawddach Trail, running right past our front door. As you can imagine, given our position next to the Snowdonia National Park, we’re a popular dog friendly hotel for visitors to the area looking to relax with their four legged friends.

Seasonal dog walking tips
Whenever you are planning to walk, there are a few tips you should follow to make sure every adventure is a happy one. On shorter, darker days; Invest in some high viz for you and your dog and carry a dedicated torch.
When the days eventually get brighter and warmer, replace the high viz and torch with sunscreen and water (for you and the dog). Then, whenever you go remember that having a charged phone is a modern day essential, as is keeping your pooch on a lead, especially in open countryside.
