Whether you fancy a great day out, exploring nearby walks and cycling trails or simply taking in a spot of retail therapy, there's something on our doorstep for everyone. Ramble and Relax

We're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park so you can imagine there's plenty to explore and see! Lace up your boots and hit the trails all around us then head back and put your feet up in our comfy bedrooms. Go on, you deserve it!

As you can imagine, there's so much to do to keep the little ones and big ones entertained all around us. With a great family suite and a triple room on site, you can enjoy a busy day and head back to relax with us in comfort.

Cycle and Snooze

Prefer two wheels to two feet? Pack your trusty bike and explore the hundreds of great trails all around us or pack your bike and take a short drive into the Snowdonia National Park. You can also hire bikes locally too!

Walks from the Door

We're right on the doorstep of some of the best walks around Dolgellau. So tie up your walking boots and view our great walks before you set off on your journey

Cadair Idris

Cadair Idris, which means 'Chair of Idris', is a spectacular mountain reserve with over 450 hectares of breathtaking landscape, rugged summits, glacial lakes and a mossy wooded gorge. It's absolutely stunning and worth putting your boots on for.

The Mawddach Trail

The Mawddach Trail footpath walk and cycle route winds for 9.5 miles (15km) on the southern edge of the spectacular Mawddach estuary. You can join the path right from our front door and it's great on foot or bike. Follow all the way to the seaside town of Barmouth.

Visit Barmouth

Barmouth just down the road from us and is a brilliant seaside down with excellent beaches (recently named on of the top 20 beaches in the UK), pubs and restaurants. It makes a great day trip out during the summer months for all ages. Don't forget your bucket and spade!

Adventure Parc Snowdonia

Adrenaline junkie? Look no further than Adventure Parc Snowdonia. Just over an hour away from us and home to Surf Snowdonia - the world's first inland surf lagoon - along with climbing walls, ninja assault courses and zip lines. Great for all ages!

Dolgellau Cycles

Looking for a great day out on the trails? Dolgellau Cycles have a great range of bikes to hire for the day including children's bikes and trailers. With so much to see and do around us, getting around on bike helps you make the most of the day whilst providing a great adventure throughout Dolgellau and beyond.

Coed Y Brenin

Coed y Brenin was Britain's first purpose-built mountain biking centre and it is still one of the sport’s top destinations. Eight purpose-built mountain bike trails from easy trails for families and beginners to technical routes for expert riders. With a café, picnic tables and children's play areas, it a great day out for all!
